The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, NY was founded in 1870 by a group of American businessmen, financiers, leading artists, and thinkers, who wanted to create a museum to bring art and art education to the American people. Its collections date from prehistory through the present day and come from all parts of the world.

This folder contains newspaper clippings about Vera Maxwell and her designs. Most of the clippings are laminated with self-adhesive paper. Also, included is a transcript of an interview Vera Maxwell had for WNBC-TV, an appreciation certificate from The Metropolitan Opera to Vera Maxwell, and a bulletin from The Metropolitan Museum of Art called "Fashion, Art, and Beauty."
