The Designer Shoe Guild was an organization created to promote the American upmarket shoe industry. During the late 1960s, the Guild's publicist was Billie Gould of New York City.

This collection contains 6 black and white press photographs of shoes for the 1969-70 season (one photo is a duplicate print) and five press releases (most detached from their corresponding photo) from the Designer Shoe Guild, detailing that the shoes were displayed at Press Week at the Hotel Pierre. Named designers include Erica, Delman, Palter de Liso, John Jerro, Stanley Philipson, Dan Berk, Howard Fox, Dominic Romano, Palizzio, and Herbert Levine.
