Biography
Martine Sitbon was born in Casablanca and moved to Paris at a young age. Here she studied fashion design and shortly after worked as a freelancer, establishing her own ready-to-wear brand in 1984. In 1988, she became the creative director of Chloé for nine seasons where she brought ruffles to a new prominence and a touch of "dreamy romanticism." She returned to her own label and her designs today can be found at upscale boutiques and department stores around the globe.
