This collection holds photographs primarily of B. Altman's display windows from the 1930s through 1987. Many photographs were published in Views and Reviews by the Retail Reporting Bureau and include caption and credit information. Specific display themes, designers and styles have been described at the folder level.

Scope and Contents Collection of approximately 72 department store display window black and white photographs and textual information created for the "Views and Reviews" service of the Retail Reporting Bureau. Information includes visual themes for each window, products and brands on display, store names and locations and dates. Products range from womens and mens faashion to millinery to interior products and furniture. Department stores include Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Bonwit Teller, B....
