Biography
Roxane Kamenstein was known for her elaborate evening dresses she designed for Samuel Winston, Inc. Mrs. Kamenstein was born in New York City and started her career in the merchandising field. She wrote articles on fashion and was the author of "The Secret of Couture Sewing" and "Sew Like a Pro." She was the recipient of a Coty Award in 1960, and an International Silk citation. Kamenstein passed in June, 1981.
