Biography

Michel Mallard worked as a designer at the House of Maggy Rouff (Maggy Besançon de Wagner, whose parents created the House of Drecoll). He was one of three designers that was employed by the fashion house during the 1960s when the fashion line went from couture to ready-to-wear in the hopes of targeting a younger customer. The fashion house closed soon after this dramatic shift in clientele base.
