Biography
Diana, Princess of Wales, was born The Honourable Diana Frances Spencer on July 1st, 1961. She received the honor of "Lady" in 1975, when her father inherited his Earldom. On July 29, 1981, Diana married the Charles, Prince of Wales, becoming a fashion icon as her royal status put her in the limelight. The couple had two sons, Prince William and Prince Henry (known as Harry). In 1992, the couple decided to split up. The divorce was finalized on August 28th, 1996. Just over a year later, on August 31, 1997, Diana tragically passed away in a car accident in Paris after being pursued by paparazzi.
