Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Party of the Year invitations, 1958-1968
Scope and Contents
This folder contains invitations to the Costume Institute's Party of the Year balls; each year had a different theme, "Snow Ball", "Jewel Ball", "Museum Ball", "American Holidays Ball" and "Folk Fete". All invitations are in color, and some are printed in letterpress. All have handwritten notes indicating that Freund was in charge of the layout; some indicate the artists involved, including Dorothy Hood and Helen Hall.
