Scope and Contents

Folder includes Lord and Taylor ads for womenswear, bridal gowns, Capezio shoes and bathing suits. The majority are printed ads (some indicate the New Yorker as the publication), though there is some original artwork by Freund (with corresponding published ad) and by Evelyn Marcil. Handwritten notes indicate that Freund was responsible for all layout; other named artists include Dorothy Hood, Morton Kaish, Carl Wilson and Yuskowsky.
