Receipts and check stubs, circa 1924-1959 (bulk 1940-1949)

This folder contains receipts, notes, paystubs, and ephemera related to Harriet Meserole's client work, as well as items she purchased. Projects include the Toytown Village and Carnival projects Harriet completed for McCann Erickson and Shredded Wheat cereal. The companies included are Conde Nast, McCall Corporation, American Artists Group, Inc., Curtis Publishing Company, Merrill Company Publishers, Coty, Inc., Street and Smith Publications, Newell-Emmett Company, Ruthrauff and Ryan, Inc., and The Family Circle, Inc. There are documents relating to artist's representative Esther Watson Reno and records of purchases made by Harriet, as well as portions of Harriet's check register.
