Scope and Contents
This folder holds illustration and surface design work by Harriet Meserole including both original color sketches and published, printed work for a variety of clients. Projects include store brochures, book covers, magazine layouts, invitations, and guides. Clients include Conde Nast (Vogue), Aldus, the Alice Chapin Adoption Nursery, Jenner's hats from 1937, Longman's Green and Co. publishers, Richard Hudnut, Saks Fifth Avenue, De Pinna, and an unidentified magazine. There is also a hand-penned and illustrated "Bible Readings" booklet dated 1908 when Harriet would have been 15 years old, and a reproduction of a poster for a theatre production printed by Devoe Fresco Colors.
