Three unframed paintings
Three paintings in the Meserole collection were unframed due to storage constraints and concerns over acidity, and stored in this folder with other paintings. The frames look to be contemporary to the paintings, and the backing had become highly acidic and brittle. The backing was discarded, while any marks relating to framers or art suppliers were retained. The frames have been boxed and placed in boxes 8, 9, and 10.
