Women's wear window displays, 1974

 File — Box: 2, Folder: 8

Scope and Contents

This folder contains black and white photographs of women's wear window displays; themes include celebrating the color black, drapey long dresses, and swimwear. Some of the backdrops seem to be reused from windows in the 1972 - 1973 folders in this box, namely the sculptural wood ends background and the giant sculptural Brancusi style head. Named designers include the Meadowbrook Shop, Young Colony, Katja (Scandinavian), John Anthony, Leo Narducci, Neil Bieff, Arturo Herrera, Scott Barrie and Kasper. There are also 3 photographs of in-store displays of swimwear.
