Biographical / Historical

Alberto Fabiani was an Italian fashion designer. After taking over his family's fashion house in the 1950s, Fabiani went on to become a successful designer known for his classic, conservative designs. Briefly, Fabiani created a joint fashion house with his wife, Simonneta Visconti; however, this label dissolved and Fabiani worked under his own name until his retirement in 1974.

Jane Sprague was a model during the 1950s and regularly appeared in fashion magazines including Harper's Bazaar. She became a photographer for Harper's Bazaar.
