Scope and Contents

This folder contains black & white photographs depicting fashion designer Charles James in different life stages. The designer appears working in his atelier in some of the photographs. There is also a photograph that depicts young James and which was a gift for Vera Maxwell. Also, included are black & white photographs depicting dress forms and a photograph of a magazine page where Charles James's work is illustrated.
