Scope and Contents

This folder contains a large collage with black & white photos and images of press clippings depicting women models wearing Maxwell designs. The designs are from different years that span from 1939 to 1972 and are all put together on a large board. There is also a collage with images of different people, some of them are prominent people such as Albert Einstein and Coco Chanel, and they are all put together on a large paperboard. This collage has a phrase that says "This is Style According to Vera Maxwell." Also, included are press clippings and extra large photomechanical reproduced sketches of Maxwell designs for womenswear. The press clippings and sketches are attached to large paperboards.
