Scope and Contents

This folder contains typed descriptions about Vera Maxwell collections for Summer 1950-51 and Fall 1950-51. The descriptions also account for the designer's thoughts and philosophy on fashion as well experiences she has had in some of her trips abroad where she found inspiration for her design process. The descriptions were written for press releases. Also, included is an invitation for the opening of Vera Maxwell's "Alpine Collection" for Resort and Spring and a pink paperboard with the designer's name printed in red.
