Scope and Contents

This folder contains typed descriptions about Vera Maxwell collections for Spring-Resort / Fall 1954 and Summer / Fall 1955. The descriptions also account for the designer's thoughts and philosophy on fashion as well experiences she had in some of her trips abroad where she found inspiration for her design process. The descriptions were written for press releases. Also, included are press reports related to the Neiman-Marcus Awards and a list of the awardees. There are also two invitations for a presentation for the press of a Vera Maxwell's Autumn and Winter collection, a reference list of the Autumn 1955 collection, two empty cards related to Switzerland, and promotional materials.
