Scope and Contents
This folder contains typed descriptions about Vera Maxwell collections for Spring 1964 and Fall and Winter 1963-1964. The descriptions also account for the designer's thoughts and philosophy on fashion, experiences she has had in some of her trips abroad where she found inspiration for her design process, and career journey. The descriptions were written for press releases. Also, included are typed descriptions and a handout related to a fashion game called "Guess Which Year?," a descriptive text related to the 38th annual Presbyterian-St. Luke's Fashion Show where designers Vera Maxwell and Adele Simpson participated, a reference list of garments with prices of the Summer 1964 collection, an invitation to a Vera Maxwell fashion show that is related to the New Jersey Neuro-Psychiatric Institute, and promotional materials.
