Scope and Contents
This collection contains small catalogs and advertisements from various department stores, color photographs on mannequins in display windows, business documents, pencil and ink sketches; 49 pencil sketches with some color, and design croquis with attached swatches.

Biographical / Historical
Dorothy Jensen designed youth sportswear from around 1950-1970 for companies including Johnston, Inc., Bedford Dress, and Jonathan Logan. During the 1950s and 1960s, she taught the Doris Anderson Simplified System of Sewing and Styling at Gimbels department stores. She was a former pupil of Ms. Anderson.
