Bill Haire collection
Scope and Contents
This collection holds pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor sketches. Many are accompanied by fabric samples. Included are Haire's FIT student portfolio, press photos from 1975 to 1984, runway photographs from the 1980's, oversize sketches for flight attendants' uniforms, designs for the ballet Sebastian and a series of portrait photographs of fellow designers made for a Council of American Fashion Designers event.
