Costume plates and sketches
Scope and Contents
This collection holds a wide variety of works on paper including: 1) 5 miniature paintings in greyscale, possibly gouache, which were a gift of Clark S. Marlor. Most have writing in German script in pencil. 2) 14 hand colored costume plates from a variety of publications 3) 11 original watercolor illustrations signed by Hedy [Anderegg?] 4) 4 Swiss costume plate reproductions 5) 1 lithograph by Pobuda of a woman in costume, _Carnival_, 1837, 6) 1 watercolor of a matador, 1846, and 7) 2 hand colored prints with Arabic signatures.
