Masaaki Kawashima sketches

Two womenswear design sketches created by Kawashima while a student at FIT in 1963. Kawashima went on to teach menswear design at FIT in the late 1960s and 1970s, and published multiple books on the topic.


Both sketches were used in the special collections exhibition "Nurturing the Artist" mounted in FIT's Art and Design Gallery in October 2025.
