Biography
Stein and Blaine was a New York store that was the first to feature designs with credit given to their in-house designer. All the clothes sold in the store were custom-made. In the 1940s and 1950s the in-house designer was Muriel King.

Harriette Harra collection
This collection contains original fashion sketches done by Harra in the late 1940's, early 1950's. It contains photographs of her garments on models. Some of the photos have the original illustration attached. It also contains press clipping and pamphlets regarding Harra's business and events she participated in. Also included are pieces of correspondence and financial information, some on Harriette Harra letter head.
