Biography
Carolyn Schnurer was born in New York City in 1908. She was a pioneer in the newly emerging American sportswear industry, marketing towards young and active women. Her designs successfully maintained a classic American silhouette while also incorporating the multicultural themes in fabric selection or construction detail.
