Biography
American dress manufacturer and past president of the New York Couture Group, Aldrich presented his first dress collection in 1927. Working with his designer, Marie McCarthy, he was involved in fabric selection and editing of each collection. As an example of his innovations, he conceived the loose-fitting silhouette in 1955 that was popular for the next five years.
