Scope and Contents
Volume 23 has similar contents to v.22, with clippings covering the popularity of culottes, evening wear and women's wear generally. Notable clippings include magazine tears from Harper's Bazaar and Vogue (one including images of Suzy Parker wearing Mainbocher); articles about Nancy Reagan and Anne Ford wearing Mainbocher; and a NY Times article about the interior design of Mary Martin and Richard Halliday's apartment. There are two oversized black and white photographs of models wearing Mainbocher that are still attached into this scrapbook, plus three similar loose photographs that are in a folder.
