Scope and Contents

Volume 24 includes clippings related to women's wear, evening wear, bridal, children's wear and raincoats. Notable personalities covered in the press include Judy Garland, Ethel Ford, Tammy Grimes, and Gloria Vanderbilt; there are multiple articles about Mainbocher's being named as one of the top fashion designers in the world by Women's Wear Daily, along with John Galanos. At least one article is written by NY Post fashion correspondent Ruth Preston.
