Scope and Contents
This folder contains a scrapbook from 1950-1951 with magazine clippings, business correspondence, and promotional materials for women's and children's wear made by Everfast Fabrics. There are ads for resort wear and beach wear designs from Carolyn Schnurer, Frances Sider, Joset Walker, Henry Rosenfeld, and Claire McCardell, and ads for sewing patterns from Advance and Vogue. There are also original fashion sketches from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Apparel Design program with Everfast fabric swatches, and a program for the 1951 Maid of Cotton fashion show.
