Scope and Contents
This folder contains a scrapbook from 1964 with newspaper and magazine clippings, promotional materials, and photographs for the 1964 Miss America promotional tour with Donna Axum. Miss America's promotional tours were a collaboration between Miss America, Everfast Fabrics, Everglaze, and McCall's Patterns. In 1964, they visited Frederick & Nelson, Meier & Frank; The Dayton Company, Brandeis, Block's, Gimbels-Schuster, Cain-Sloan, Gus Blass Co., Stewart's, Hudson's, and Eaton's. There are photographs at the participating stores, fashion show programs, and sewing pattern envelopes.
