Scope and Contents This folder contains photographic prints of window displays, the vast majority published in Views and Reviews and so including captions, credits and press information. The bulk of the windows were designed by display director Anton Heller, with some additional credits given to Andrew Druschilowsky and Robert Benzio. Clothing displayed includes casual looks, resort and swimwear, bridal, back to school and college, children's wear, outerwear, shoes and hats, with some evening wear and home...

This folder contains photographic prints (mostly black and white) of window displays featuring mainly outerwear, sportswear, separates and daytime fashions. Display themes include mannequins posed with a giant, Brancusi type sculptural head; mannequins posed as actresses on musical theater sets; and mannequins paired with fine art paintings. Named designers include Young Colony, Kimberly, Jon Haggins and Anne Klein.

This folder contains black and white photographs of in-store and window displays surrounding the Elegancia Espanola campaign. In addition to women's wear fashions, the displays featured framed paintings created by famous Spanish masters such as Goya and Velazquez, rugs, tableware and housewares, and Spanish imported products. The photographs have a handwritten date of 1955 on the reverse, but research shows that the accurate date for this campaign was 1965.

This folder contains one older, sepia-toned photograph of the shoe department at B. Altman (estimated to date to the 1920s); aside from this image, all the rest of the undated photographs are of window displays of shoes (many also featuring clothing), ranging from the 1940s through the 1970s. Shoe designers on display include Delmar, Casuals by Joyce, Charles Jourdan, Silvia of Fiorentina, and Young Colony.
