This collection holds documents and photographic materials including correspondence between Robert Riley, Janet Gaynor, and others concerning research for the FIT exhibition, _Adrian Retrospective_, 1971.

In this interview, Robert L. Green interviews costume and fashion designer Bob Mackie about his life and career. They discuss his methods and his experiences with specific projects and the costume industry. They discuss their experiences with Edith Head, as well as Mackie's work with a wide variety of celebrities.

This collection consists of primary source material from various fashion-related sources from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The majority of the sources are fashion plates and tear sheets, but there are also sketches, photographs, and advertisements. Most of the images reflect women's and men's fashions, with some children's fashions, as indicated.

This collection is comprised of original sketches and photographs, business and promotional materials, and materials related to the fashion career of George Simonton as well as his work at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

The Marimekko collection includes sample books of pattern designs, textile swatches, pictures of modeled garments, fashion catalogues for different seasons , leaflets, a brochure, few photographs and promotional items.

In this interview, Robert L. Green interviews award-winning costume designer Patricia Zipprodt in her studio. They discusses the process of designing costumes for the theater and her use of apprentices to help with costume research.
