Scope and Contents

This collection consists of primary source material from various fashion-related sources from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The majority of the sources are fashion plates and tear sheets, but there are also sketches, photographs, and advertisements. Most of the images reflect women's and men's fashions, with some children's fashions, as indicated.

Scope and Contents

This folder contains a black & white negative depicting a model woman wearing a Maxwell dress. Also, included are black & white prints. One depicts a model woman wearing a Maxwell outfit in a photo shoot. Other prints depict employees working in a garment factory and other print depicts a foot of a model exhibiting a Maxwell boot.
