Drapery and Women's Wear, 1966, 1966
Scope and Contents
This folder contains a scrapbook from 1966 with promotional materials, fabric swatches, photographs, business correspondence, and magazine and newspaper clippings for women's wear and drapery fabrics from Everfast Fabrics. There are ads for Everglaze easy care cottons for interiors, protected with Zepel from DuPont, and designs from Sue Brett, Glen of Michigan, and Kroehler Furniture. There are also sewing pattern envelopes from McCall's, business correspondence with DUX, Incorporated, and ads and a photograph of a display at B. Altman & Co. There are loose excerpts from American Fabrics with swatches of the "Young Romantic" collection and "Sundra," a nu-jute fabric. Many pages contain handwritten notes with the name of the pattern on the fabric being advertised.
