Scope and Contents The hat sketches in this folder are all rendered in gouache, ink and pencil; 3 larger sketches on gray heavyweight paper feature multiple hats on the page with handwritten notes describing the hats and giving style numbers. Scope and Contents The bulk of the sketches in this folder are for women's wear; all are rendered in gouache, ink and pencil on gray heavyweight paper, most have handwritten notes describing the textile specifications, and many looks include a matching hat. There is one sketch of a woman wearing a wool overcoat. There is also one sketch of men's wear rendered in black ink on vellum, which depicts high-waisted pleated trousers with a fitted waist and relaxed fit pant leg and a pointed collar button down shirt....
